Diddy reveals Kim Porter’s heartbreaking last words about child before she died

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has revealed the last words ex Kim Porter said to him just before she died from lobar pneumonia.

The 49-year-old music mogul has spoken about the death of Kim, the mother of his children, and has revealed her final words and instructions before she passed away.

Speaking to Essence , Diddy said: "Three days before she passed, she wasn’t feeling well."

Diddy went on to explain that Kim "had the flu" and "she sent the kids over to my house so they wouldn’t get sick."


Revealing the heartbreaking thoughts Kim shared with him just before her death, Diddy said: "One night I was checking on her, and she was like, ‘Puffy, take care of my babies.’

"She actually said that to me before she died."

These words have stuck with him ever since he received the news that Kim had lost her battle with pneumonia on November 15.

She was found dead at her home in Toluca Lake, California and Diddy said he "jumped into mommy mode."

His first task was to be the bearer of the tragic news to his children. Diddy revealed: "I sent people in every direction to try to make sure kids would not hear about it on social media or the news."

Diddy and Kim had three children together, son Christian, 21, and twin daughters Jessie James, 12, and D’Lila, 12.

He also helped raise Kim’s son Quincy, 27, from a previous relationship.

Diddy also has a 25-year-old son, Justin, and a 13-year-old daughter, Chance, from previous relationships.

Speaking about the logistics of getting the news to the them, Diddy said: "I had to get to the girls’ school and find Quincy, who was on set in Atlanta.

"Christian was on a plane, and I had his phone disconnected so he wouldn’t read it in the air."

Diddy also revealed how his relationship with Kim had worked as they co-parented their children.

The music producer said: "Every time Kim and I talked, it was about the kids. We’d check in as friends, of course, but we never had a conversation that didn’t include the kids… I ain’t even gonna lie."

The immediate aftermath of sharing the news involved much "screaming and crying” but then Kim's words hit him and now Diddy says he is "a lot more present" in the kids lives.

Diddy has hailed Kim, saying "because of the way she loved us,” it had set them up as a family.
