Emmerdale viewers devastated for innocent Daz Spencer as Amelia frames him for her kidnap after returning home

The true culprit was finally revealed last month as mystery girl Beth who was keeping Amelia at her home in a bid to get hold of the reward money.

But during tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Amelia left the flat to go and get some eggs to bake a cake and was seen in the park by her uncle Daz, played by Mark Jordan, who was out looking for her.

Daz took her home to her family Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) who tell Daz he is to stay away from Amelia as they believe he was behind her vanishing.

Inside Amelia’s family home she refuses to reveal the true identity of her kidnapper, believing what Beth had told her about Daz.

Earlier in the episode, Beth told Amelia of her family: “They’re bad people Amelia. They’ve done terrible things. Daz has ruined my life.”

Amelia responded: “My Uncle Daz? Beth, what has he done?”

Beth hit back: “He killed my dad. He’s dangerous.”

However, Daz is insistent he has never even met Beth before and is shocked when Amelia tells the police it was him who took her which leads to his arrest.

Viewers were devastated for Daz and many took to Twitter to voice their upset.

One person wrote: “My heart is literalkly breaking for #DazSpencer on #Emmerdale! Another high emotive 60 mins of compulsive viewing from our friends in #YorkshireDales!”

Another viewer tweeted: “AMELIA how could you!!!!! Poor Daz!!!!!”

A different Emmerdale fan remarked: “Amelia… WTF ARE YOU DOING??? How could you!!!”

And one other person posted: “What the f**k Amelia is such a little s**t for that.”

Actress Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt, recently appeared on Loose Women and suggested Daz will be cleared of any wrongdoing as there is more to come from the storyline.

She said: “It’s a bit turbulent isn’t it? It’s not by any means over yet.

“Daz is a suspect but there’s another couple of twists and turns.”
