Hollyoaks' Ste Hay is accused of framing James Nightingale for murder

Hollyoaks‘ Ste Hay is left baffled next week as James Nightingale blames him for his current “murder” predicament.

James (Gregory Finnegan) is in serious trouble with the police after his enemy Sami Maalik managed to frame him for the supposed “death” of Kyle Kelly.

As James remains on tenterhooks over his future next week, he cuts himself off from his concerned family.

The lawyer’s mum Marnie and sister Ellie urge him to join them as they go to see his younger brother Alfie, who’s receiving treatment for schizoaffective disorder, but it doesn’t work as he refuses to go.

Later on, James is heading across the village when he bumps into Ste (Kieron Richardson). Believing that he’s face-to-face with his biggest enemy, James angrily accuses Ste of framing him.

Of course, Ste has nothing to do with the sinister situation – despite their many differences in the past – so it seems like James is on the wrong path for now. Will he ever realise Sami is the real source of his troubles?

This isn’t Ste’s only concern next week, as there’s also drama closer to home when his sister Tegan (Jessica Ellis) is told that she can finally leave the hospital.

With recent events still taking their toll, Tegan isn’t happy to be discharged, but Ste and Leela are both determined to talk her round.

When the siblings bring Rose to visit Tegan in the hope that she’ll come home, will the plan work?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes at Friday, June 29 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
