Jack P Shepherd urged to call the police after online troll accuses him of drugging his girlfriend and beating his daughter

The bully – who regularly changes their name on Instagram – has been bombarding the Coronation Street stalwart with vile allegations for weeks.

The hateful crackpot pours out bile on his social media pages each times he makes a post.

The keyboard warrior – believed to be a woman – has made shocking unfounded statements about his treatment of his two children with ex-lover Lauren Shippey and his current partner Hanni Treweek.

Pals fear the hate campaign could escalate even further and have urged the David Platt star to contact police.

Last night a source said: “The women is clearly not right but Jack says he’s just going to leave it.

“His view is that it will only enflame things and he thinks she’ll just get bored and go away if he doesn’t engage with her or threaten to take action.

“But the things she is coming out with are truly vile and there is a worry that she could turn up on his doorstep or at the ITV studios. He’s pretty relaxed about it and says he’s not worried about some demented troll.

“He says he it will someone else’s turn soon but a few of his mates aren’t so sure and are worried.”

The crank – who has been plaguing Jack for weeks – was at it again two days ago when he posted a touching snap of him posing in a pub with ITV worker Hanni.

He was hit with a string of evil comments from the person, with one stating: “I feel so for @ladyhanni89 that she has to be touched by @jackpshepherd88. He looks like he smells.”

Other wild posts accused him of beating his children and “drugging” Hanni.

The source added that Coronation Street is aware of the hate campaign against Jack and are monitoring the situation.

Over the summer Jack hinted he'd got engaged to Hani and posted a picture of them on holiday, captioned: “She said yes”.

However he has not mentioned it since and Hanni hasn’t been seen wearing an engagement ring.

He might not be ready for commitment just yet though, as he still lives with his Corrie co-star Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker.

The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Jack for comment.
