Jason Gardiner slams ‘disturbing’ Gemma Collins as he takes swipe at her ‘fame’

Despite being kicked out of Dancing On Ice last night, it looks like Gemma Collins’ feud with Jason Gardiner will continue to rumble on off the rink.

The judge, 47, didn’t hold back on Lorraine today as he delivered a huge blow to the GC’s ego after claiming he had no idea who she was before the ITV skating show began.

And if that weren’t enough, he hit out at her for never apologising for claiming he had sold stories on her, branding the situation "disturbing".

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly today, Jason was asked whether he was relieved that Gemma was finally out of the competition.

"I’m relieved for the other contestants in the show who are really brilliant and the focus can be on their merit," he said.

Asked by host Lorraine Kelly if his recent feud with Collins was personal, Gardiner said: "I didn’t know who Gemma was until this series, I’ve never seen her show so I wasn’t familiar with who she was, so there was nothing personal until it did get personal, and she accused me of something really quite libellous.

"Actually it was disturbing because she never actually apologised either, so that to me shows real character."

However he also added that he regretted the fact that the rift between them had dominated the headlines so much.

He said: "Because, actually, these other contestants have been blooming whilst all of this has been blooming going on, so it’s different.

"I’m glad that now the contestants that we have in the show now are going to have their time to shine."

This comes after Gemma was previously heard blasting co-stars from another reality TV show in a secretly recorded foul-mouthed rant earlier this month.

Gemma could be heard screaming that she was a "f***ing star" and viciously hits out at her female co-stars for not being "at her TV level".

The 37-year-old shouted at producers and demands to see a show counsellor because she says she is "about to kill [herself]".

The three girls Gemma is referring to could be athlete Jade Jones, TV presenter London Hughes and singer Tallia Storm.

While Gemma doesn’t name anyone, they were the only four women taking part in the show for that series.

The recording, obtained by The Sun , also sees Gemma refuse to film in Wales and says: "If you want me film me in Essex."

She also said that she would hand back her £60,000 fee unless they adhered to her demands.

The recording begins with Gemma saying: "Have me hanging around to film with three people that are clearly not up to my TV level. Don’t put me in scenes with them girls.

"If this show’s going to be me one on one making me find love I don’t need to sit there listening to the girls’ b******t."

Referring to them as "not star status", she demands: "Do not call me in to f***ing filming with them. Wales ain’t the right idea for me at the weekend because really I’m making them look good on camera."

She tearfully insists that she "doesn’t need to be in those situations" and that it’s a "waste of time".

"I’m like a f***ing star, you can’t [have] me hanging around all day," she hits out at Celebs Go Dating bosses.

"I’m not filming with people that are not star quality," she says. "Other people in this show ain’t as important as me."

At the end of the recording, she furiously says: "Take your 60 grand back, bye, get me out of here. Go. I didn’t want to do this show, I had a bad feeling about it. You’re going to bring a piece of f***ing s*** to my table.

"Are you f***ing mad? Get me out of here."

Gemma added: "S*** is a piece of s*** mate. You think you’re going to put that f***ing man in front of me again…"

*Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am on ITV
