- Camilla, who is also the Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, visited Alford Community Campus today

- Her husband Prince Charles will witness her marriage to Jack Brooksbank but the Duchess will be absent
The Duchess of Cornwall joined in a cookery class at a school in Scotland today as part of her visit that will see her miss Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
Camilla, who is also the Duchess of Rothesay, got stuck in as youngsters at Alford Community Campus in Aberdeenshire took part in a cookery class and school performance to mark Harvest Festival.
Tomorrow she will visit Crathie primary school near Balmoral, which means she will be unable to attend Eugenie’s wedding to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank, 31.
There has been mass speculation as to why the Duchess has decided to visit the school instead of attending the ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, where Prince Harry, 34, married Meghan Markle, 37 earlier this year.
Her husband Prince Charles will witness the couple getting married and join her in Scotland after the festivities.

Some have argued it will add unwanted attention to the already controversial wedding, which is set to cost the taxpayer £2million in security and added policing.
But regardless the Duchess was pictured beaming with students at Alford Community Campus, which was officially opened in November 2015 and caters for pupils in early years, primary and secondary education.
The campus features a library, theatre, dance studio, sports hall, gym, community rooms and a swimming pool and is well used by the local community.
