Chilling moment rich Russian heir, 23, smirks as he arranges for ‘hitman’ to slaughter his loving parents and sister, 10, so he can collect inheritance

Evil Artyom Tepper, 23, boasts he will avoid suspicion by crying fake tears and feigning hysterical grief after the hitman fulfils his order to wipe out his family.

A chilling video, released by state investigators, shows the cruel son approvingly running his finger over the shiny steel blade that he hopes will be used to kill them.

But detectives had rumbled his sickening plan to murder his family, and a law enforcement officer was posing as the contract killer.

Later when this “hitman” showed Tepper photographs of the "corpses" of his mum and dad covered in blood – images they had staged with police – he finally realised the “horror” of his actions.

He “went pale and screamed”, according to law enforcement.

Despite this, he paid over a tranche of the £38,000 kill fee in cash as agreed, with the rest due to follow after he collected his inheritance.

At this point he was handcuffed and detained by armed police.

Twelve months after his arrest, Tepper was this week jailed for six and a half years by a court in Sochi – and incredibly his family has “forgiven” him, vowing to wait for him when he is released.

It was his wealthy 50-year-old dad Igor Tepper who had gone to detectives after suspecting his son was seeking to kill them due to his “greed for money”.

Artyom had dropped poisonous pills in the family’s kettle but Igor noticed.

Later he planned to unleash mercury in their car, but again this failed.

He confessed after his arrest: “I had been planning it for several months.

“I'm so done with them, they didn't understand me, and so I found a contract killer.”

Tepper drew a floor plan of the luxury family home for his hired assassin.

I'm so done with them, they didn't understand me, and so I found a contract killer.

He indicated where security cameras were placed, and how to avoid guard dogs.

In the end he was shown the mocked-up murder photographs.

It was only after Artyom confessed his guilt that he was told his parents were still alive.

Earlier he had complained to his friend Pavel: "Why can't he (Igor) buy an apartment for me now?

“He has the money. He could have arranged a job for me, where I only have to sign papers and do nothing else. But no!”

Pavel said: “I felt uneasy when he started asking: ‘How can I kill them?’”

His mum was “dumbfounded” when told her son was seeking to murder the family.

But from his detention cell, Artyom “sent letters and never stopped asking for forgiveness from his mother and father,” reported Komsomolskaya Pravda.
