During his appearance on ‘Aubrey Marcus Podcast’, the 38-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback talks about how it was like when he and the former racecar driver were together.
AceShowbiz –Aaron Rodgers is looking back on his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick. During his appearance on “Aubrey Marcus Podcast” on Wednesday, August 3 the Green Bay Packers quarterback shared how it was like when they were together.
During the interview, Aaron revealed that the former racecar driver helped him be more in tuned with mindfulness during their romance. “I was dating Danica and that relationship was great for me because she is on her own journey and spirituality is important to her,” Aaron told host Aubrey Marcus.
The 38-year-old continued, “We both were finding our way, learning about different things [and] practicing meditation techniques.” He also recalled appearing on Danica’s “Pretty Intense” podcast when Aubrey, who founded lifestyle brand Onnit based on a holistic health philosophy known as Total Human Optimization, was a guest. Noting that he was “fascinated” with his work, he added, “I felt like we were going to be friends at some point.”
Aaron and Danica started dating in the fall of 2017 when she was on the last lap of her NASCAR career. The pair, however, ended things in 2020. Before the split, the couple isolated together amid the COVID-19 pandemic and took online classes, cooking and catching up with friends and family through the phone. “I’m learning a little bit more Spanish,” Danica told PEOPLE at the time. “Aaron got Rosetta Stone on his phone, so we’re learning languages.”
Following their breakup, Aaron moved on with Shailene Woodley. He announced their engagement in February 2021 but they called it quits in February the following year.
The “Divergent” actress appeared to address the split in an Instagram post. She shared at the time that the month had been filled with “oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCING, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs from laughing, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway tag, goofiness, spontaneity, pita bread (so much pita!).” She added, “god i’m grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
