The wife of Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has died aged 55. 

Linda Gail Kramer, who was described by the rock star as the ‘love of his life,’ died on June 22.

According to an obituary posted in the Boston Herald, the 72-year-old drummer and his wife were ‘inseparable’ said family and friends. It also added she ‘loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews.’

Joey’s reps also confirmed the sad news to several news outlets, but no cause of death has been released. 

They tied the knot in 2009 and were married for 13 years, with the musician describing their first meeting as ‘the biggest rush you ever had in your life.’

Kramer was born in Decatur, Georgia, on February 27, 1967, before moving to Houston, Texas in 1971. 

The obituary described her as a woman with ‘a wicked, mischievous sense of humor’ who enjoyed Hallmark Christmas movies and had ‘a passion for driving fast cars,’ as well as deeply caring for her family, friends and dogs, Lucy and Cosmo.

‘Above all, she loved her family and especially her nieces and nephews. She had an insatiable concern for the well-being of children everywhere,’ the obituary read.

Just one day before her death, Kramer took to her Twitter page to wish her husband a happy 72nd birthday. 

‘Happy Birthday to the Love Of My LIFE !!’ she gushed, adding, ‘You are the most amazing man with the biggest heart I know I Love U my sweet boy.’

Joey has been a member of Aerosmith since its formation in 1970.

The band is also made up of lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford and bassist Tom Hamilton.
