Eva Mendes just (maybe accidentally?) called Ryan Gosling her “husband” in an interview after years of dancing around the marriage topic—seemingly confirming growing speculation that they secretly got married.

Speaking to Australia’s Today, Eva referred to Ryan as her “husband,” saying (per the Daily Mail), “Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan is here, and we are having the best time.”

This !!! moment follows Eva posting her “de Gosling” wrist tattoo on Instagram, which many fans took as a pretty bit hint that she and Ryan had secretly gotten married. But even after posting the tattoo, Eva remained vague during a follow-up interview with Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show. When asked by co-host Brittany Hockley, “There’s a rumor that you guys might have secretly tied the knot…is that true?” Eva said, “Who says we weren’t already? I like to keep it all mysterious. I’m a very mysterious woman.”

She went on to speak about the tattoo specifically, saying “I do have a tattoo. It’s just a press on…no, it’s not a press on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I’ve gotten a lot of funny questions.”

Eva definitely keeps it vague on purpose—so gonna assume this recent “husband” mention was accidentally. Either way, sounds like Eva and Ryan got secretly married at some point, so…on that note all-caps CONGRATULATIONS are in order.
