The actress, who came to recognition portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera ‘Another World’, reportedly is being intubated in the hospital following the incident.

AceShowbiz –Anne Heche was involved in a fiery car crash on Friday, August 5. According to TMZ, the former “Hung” star was “severely burned” following the incident that took place in Los Angeles.

In a photo obtained by the outlet, the 53-year-old was seen being taken away on a stretcher and into an ambulance. The actress, who came to recognition portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera “Another World”, is reportedly intubated in the hospital.

It was unveiled that Anne was driving a blue Mini Cooper when she crashed into the garage of an apartment complex in the Mar Vista area. Residents of the apartment complex reportedly tried to get her out of her car but she put it in reverse and then sped off.

Not long after that, Anne sped off and crashed into another home. The crash started a fire that engulfed the building.

It looks like Anne was under the influence of alcohol. One photo taken before the accident showed that there was a bottle with a red cap in the car’s cup holder. However, doctors are unable to perform alcohol blood testing with her current condition.

The incident took place nearly one year after Anne claimed that she’s once “blacklisted” by Hollywood for dating Ellen DeGeneres. “This wasn’t a long-term love affair,” the mom of two, who dated the TV host from 1997 to 2000, told Page Six in October 2021. “This was a moment in my life when I was given the glory of being able to stand up for what I believe in and have since I was a kid.”

Describing herself as the “patient zero in cancel culture,” Anne revealed that she lost a big project because of the same-sex partnership. “I didn’t do a studio picture for ten years,” she disclosed. “I was fired from a $10 million picture deal and did not see the light of day in a studio picture.”
