Arsenal predicted line up vs Liverpool revealed ahead of Premier League clash

Unai Emery could be unable to call upon a host of defenders as Arsenal welcome Premier League rivals Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Hector Bellerin (thigh) is being assessed ahead of the game alongside fellow full-backs Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac – who are both recovering from hamstring issues – and Sokratis Papastathopoulos (ankle).

Laurent Koscielny is still not up to speed following an Achilles injury, while midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is suspended and Mohamed Elneny (thigh) is also missing.

Liverpool midfielders Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson will not be available for the trip to the capital.

Both are only scheduled to return to training over the next couple of days after hamstring injuries but could come into contention next weekend.

Andrew Robertson is set to return at left-back after being rested last weekend.

Meanwhile, Emery has revealed he wants to emulate his Anfield counterpart.

“I look at Klopp and he smiles every day,” said Arsenal’s head coach. “I want to smile like him and a smile is better when you win.

“We need to do thing positively, with a smile and then we can enjoy it but also work.

“So I need to learn to smile more. When we win it’s more easy but I need also to smile at other moments.

“But our work is very demanding and every day we need to be very prepared for each match. But then it’s very important also to transmit to the players with a smile.”

Predicted Arsenal XI: Leno, Lichtsteiner, Holding, Mustafi, Monreal, Xhaka, Torreira, Iwobi,Ozil, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Milner, Salah, Mane, Firmino.
