Ashton Kutcher breathed a sigh of relief as he crossed the finish line in the 2022 New York City marathon.
The actor, 44, joined with some 50 thousand other athletes to run in the grueling race through the streets of the Big Apple.
The Stoner Cats star maintained a low-key presence in the race, wearing a black Nike T-shirt and shorts with the Team Thorn logo and bright pink running shoes.

The purpose for making the 26-point-two mile trek was to raise money for the charity he founded to combat the sexual exploitation of children on the internet.
Ashton didn’t win the race, finishing with a respectable 3:54:01, but his efforts were victorious, resulting in more than $1 million in donations from friends and fans.
It was the That 70s Show star’s first time attempting such a feat, and he revealed Friday, November 4 on the Today show, that getting in shape was not easy.

He lost 12 pounds while training and said ‘I may have started a little bit too early. I think I started, like, six months ago.
‘It’s brutal on the body. Like, I got injured halfway through and now I feel like I recovered from the injury, but I’ve had a lot of help,’ he noted.
Adding to the pain from the injury was chafing on the Ranch star’s chest.

‘My nipples were falling off. I’ll be honest about it,’ he confessed.
The amateur athlete confessed he also found spending hours on the treadmill and on outdoor paths pretty boring.
To combat that, launched an interview show on Peloton in which he spoke with friends such as Natalie Portman, Kim Kardashian and Kenny Chesney while he worked out in his basement to pass the time.

Ashton wasn’t the only famous face in the crowd. Chelsea Clinton, 42, made her mark with a time of 4:20:34.
It was the former first daughter’s second marathon. She ran for the charity City Harvest which collects food waste from restaurants, bakeries and cafes to provide to those struggling to feed themselves.
The Gutsy host was greeted at the end of the race by her beaming mother and Gutsy co-host, former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.
