Bleary-eyed Holly and Phil get the giggles as they leave NTAs together

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield looked bleary-eyed and giggly as they left the National Television Awards together last night.

The pair had a raucous night at at the glitzy TV event, which was held at the O2 Arena in London, and they were celebrating a big win as they picked up the prize for best Live Magazine show.

They will both certainly be nursing sore heads today as they prepare to host This Morning after their wild night out.

Holly, 38, wore an incredible pink satin and tulle ballgown and was seen struggling to stuff the enormous frock into the back of a cab.

She was getting a ride home with co-host Phil and they were seen laughing uncontrollably in the back of the taxi together.

Holly looked in high spirits as she laughed with her longtime pal.

Despite staying out late, Holly and Phil are due on air in just a matter of hours to host This Morning.

They have previously suffered through their post-NTAs hangivers on the show and one year claimed to still be drunk after partying all night and rocking up to the set in their clothes front the night before.

During their night out, Holly and Phil dispelled rumours of a feud between them by holding hands and posing together at the bash.

Holly even shared a pic and a short video on Instagram of her holding their award aloft backstage, while holding hands with Phil.

There have been rumours that the great friends had been on rocky ground after Holly went Down Under to present I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with Declan Donnelly in 2018, subsequently picking up a BAFTA for her efforts.

However, the NTAs appearance didn't look quite so amicable for Phillip and Ruth Langsford, whose feud seemingly spilled on to the stage during the awards.

Ruth allegedly lodged an official complaint against Phil back in April last year after he interrupted her live on air during a crossover and the pair did not look at each other as they collected an award.

NTAs viewers noticed the 'awkward tension" as Phillip made a point of giving Ruth time to say some words, but she did not reciprocate his thoughts.

Thanking the team, Phillip said: "Eamonn and Ruth, your Fridays are fantastic. We love you so much. You should say something I think."

Ruth kept looking forward as she thanked Phillip, who touched her arm, for his kind words.

Ruth said: "Thank you so much. Wow, what an achievement. It's an absolute honour for us to go on that show every single day. We love it because we know you love it."
