Cara De La Hoyde has revealed that her son Freddie has been sent home from school amid fears he has contracted coronavirus.

The 30 year old took to social media to announce the news, asking fans for help as she failed to secure a test for the deadly bug from the NHS.

As the Love Island winner filmed herself lounging around with newborn daughter Delilah, two year old Freddie appeared in the background of the shot, with the brunette beauty explaining why he wasn't in school.

She told her 1.1million followers: "You may see that Fred isn't at school. He got sent home yesterday because he's got a cold and a cough.

"He's not allowed into school now until we can get him a corona test or… he's not allowed in for two weeks.

She sarcastically added: "Yeah, really good. Not ideal, especially with a newborn, and she's got her jabs on Monday so that's probably not going to happen unless we get a negative test back.

"Anyone else had this same problem with their children?," she asked her followers, inviting them to reply in a question box she attached to the story.

Cara also gave an update on her two month old daughter Delilah, who had a trip to the osteopath on Tuesday.

Nathan Massey's wife said: "I just wanted to give you an update because people have been messaging asking about the osteopath, and they looked her over and they can't see any major things that couldn't be causing her unsettlement.

"They said possibly because she had quite a quick birth, like I pushed her out quite quickly, that can cause the baby's muscles to tense up which is why she might be quite unsettled.

"They did some massaging and things like that and we're going to be going back next week so it's an ongoing thing to see if we can make her a bit more settled."
