Charlotte Hawkins has explained why she didn’t organise over-the-top celebrations for her latest milestone marriage moment
The Good Morning Britain presenter married her partner Mark Herbert in August 2008 after five years of dating.
This summer, the couple celebrated their crystal anniversary, but Charlotte, 48, revealed that there was no lavish party or star-studded event organised.
In a new interview, the TV personality revealed that she and Mark didn’t want an “all-singing, all-dancing celebrations” to mark their 15th year of marriage.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Charlotte said: “We know our marriage is important, and being able to celebrate it with our child was a really special thing.”

The mother-of-one and Mark tied the knot at Chichester Cathedral – a wedding day which was attended by the likes of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
Following the legal ceremony, the couple travelled to a stunning venue in Farbridge for their reception
The Classic FM presenter and her husband, who tend to keep their life private, welcomed their first daughter into the world in 2015.
At the time, Ella Rose Herbert was branded as a “blessing” by her parents because they had spent years trying to conceive.

It’s said that the pair were actually in the process of filling in paperwork for IVF treatment when they fell pregnant naturally.
Despite Charlotte keeping her relationship away from the limelight, the 48-year-old took to social media last month and gave a rare insight into her and Mark’s movements.
Taking to Instagram, she posted a series of sweet snaps in celebration of her husband’s 50th birthday.
In one of the pictures – shared with her 260,000 followers – the pair could be seen in black and white, standing alongside MasterChef star Monica Galetti.

The latter owns Mere Restaurant with her husband, David Galetti, in Fitzrovia, London.
In the caption, the former Strictly Come Dancing star said: “So it’s the big 5-0 for my husband today… Friday 13th!!
“Had a special lunch at @mererestaurant – & great to be able to say hello to exceptional chef @galettigram.
“Kicking the weekend’s celebrations off in style!”
