Christine McGuinness was spotted 'cosying up' to a Premier League footballer on a night out over the weekend.

The ex-wife of Take Me Out presenter Paddy, dressed in a skin-tight leather crop top and mini skirt as she headed to the opening of the seafood restaurant Sexy Fish in Manchester.

According to The Sun, Christine hit it off with former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, who also attended the bash.

A source told the publication: "Christine and Jesse were chatting for ages. It is clear Jesse took a shine to Christine, and they looked pretty close."

Jesse, 30, has played for Man United, West Ham, and Birmingham, as well as scoring eight goals for England.

Christine, 35, and ex Paddy, 50, announced they were calling it quits on their 11-year marriage in July 2022.

Despite separating, the exes have remained living in the same house, with Christine telling the Mirror, she is really looking forward to a 'fresh' start in 2024.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star shares three children, twins Penelope and Leo, ten, and Felicity, seven, with Paddy.

"I am doing OK," she explained, "Obviously, there are a lot of changes going on, and it’s not easy, but I am really looking forward to 2024.

"I know you shouldn’t wish your life away, but I am looking forward to this year being over and starting next year fresh with a bang. I really want to focus on the positives and make the most of a new year and new opportunities."

It comes as a source close to Christine recently told OK! that she is focused on 'living her best life' since the split.

"Christine is living her best, carefree life,' the insider said. "She’s just enjoying feeling liberated."

Speaking about Christine’s close friend Chelcee Grimes, who she was spotted kissing and holding hands with during a girl’s holiday to Ibiza, they said: "She relies on close friend Chelcee."

The source added: "They’ve always had the same sense of humour, and if ever Christine is having doubts over her life choices, Chelcee is there."

As well as Chelcee, our source said that Blue singer Duncan James has also been a huge support for Christine.

"Duncan and Christine have been close for years, and after doing Celebrity Hunted together, they’re even closer," they explained.

"He knows about the struggles of having your love life speculated on in the spotlight, and he’s helping her every step of the way."
