Lucy Fallon joked that she was "trying to hold baby in" as she went on a family walk on New Year's Day.
She looked to have gone on a gentle stroll with her parents and her Pomeranian Sushi, as she snapped a picture of a country lane and wrote: "New Year's Day walk trying to hold a [baby emoji] in 🙂 x"
The 27 year old former Coronation Street actress is fast approaching her due date, as she recently revealed that she has just five weeks to go until the birth of her first child, with boyfriend Ryan Ledson – likely to be at the start of February.
She posted a series of 3D scans of her baby in various different positions to her Instagram stories, as she said she has "5 weeks left" with heart emojis before saying "same" to a photo of her baby appearing to look shocked.
Lucy exclusively announced her pregnancy to OK! back in September, after keeping her pregnancy a secret for five months.
Her happy news came after she suffered a devastating miscarriage in March, and she's previously opened up about the traumatic time.
“It was a traumatising, horrendous time,” she told us. “We went for a scan and they couldn’t see anything, so then we went to the hospital and they thought they could see something, so it was very up and down.
"I had pregnancy symptoms and I was feeling really unwell and when they were doing all these scans my symptoms were getting worse and worse and there were no signs I had had a miscarriage, so that made it more of a shock.
"We just assumed everything was going to be fine. Then after a week when they’d done the blood tests and other tests I went back and they said that I had miscarried. It was a really strange feeling."
Lucy and her boyfriend Ryan have been together for nearly two years and met on celebrity dating app Raya. Ryan, 25, plays football for Championship side Preston North End.
Lucy is best-known for playing Bethany Platt on Coronation Street, a role which she played for four years before bidding farewell to her character in 2020.
The news was leaked before she had the chance to announce it herself, and she took to social media to confirm her departure.
She wrote: “Would’ve liked the chance to announce this in my own time lol.
“However, after the most incredible 4 years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020.
“It’s hard to put into words how much this show means to me. I’ve made lifelong friends with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry, I’ve had some terrific and immensely important storylines and I’ve laughed with the best people everyday.
“I’m so thankful to Iain and everyone at Coronation Street, I owe everything to them and I will miss them greatly. Thank you so much for your support and love… can’t wait to see what’s in store for Bethany this year.”
