Escape To The Chateau fans will be left excited by the latest news from star Dick Strawbridge, 61. The presenter recently posted an update to his 80,000 followers on Twitter about when he and Angel Adoree, 42, will be back on screens.
Dick was asked by a fan about when he will be returning to television when he shared the update.
The follower asked him on social media: “When are you back on tv Dick?”
The much-loved television personality replied: “Filming at the moment but we’ll let you know when we know!!”
Fans of the property renovation show reacted with their excitement at the news.
One wrote: “That is exceptionally exciting news.”
Another added: “We have just finished going through all of your programs (sic) which took some time loved it as before look forward to the next lot.”
“Well at least we have something to look forward to”, continued a third.
A fourth fan wrote: “Can’t wait! Absolutely love your family!”
The series follows Dick and his family as they attempt to transform the Château de la Motte-Husson.
The last new episode released of the popular show came out at the end of 2020.
Dick and Angel returned with a Christmas special, much to the delight of viewers.
Before this, season seven featured six episodes, which aired between November and December 2020.

In total, there have been 32 episodes of the show so far, across seven seasons.
There is no word yet when the new episodes will be released on Channel 4.
However, the show spin-off Chateau DIY has been confirmed to be returning again as well.
Channel 4 announced it had been recommissioned for 60 new episodes at the end of 2020.
The spin-off series follows British ex-pats trying to renovate their French stately homes and is narrated by Bridgerton’s Adjoa Andoh.
At the time, Channel 4’s daytime commissioning editor Jayne Stranger spoke of her delight.
She said: “We are thrilled that the Chateau DIY journey will be continuing with more episodes on Channel 4.
“With many of us embarking on our own DIY projects in lockdown, viewers can expect a large dose of inspiration, escapism and creativity.”
Escape to the Chateau airs on Channel 4.
