Olivia Attwood has found her stolen car just hours after taking to social media to ask for her followers' help.
Earlier today, Thursday 14 September, Olivia revealed to her 1.9 million Instagram followers that her black Range Rover – which was bought for her by fiancé Bradley Dack – had been stolen from her home.
She then proceeded to share several photographs of her car and called for people to reach out to her if they see it in or around Manchester.
Now, through the “power of social media”, Olivia, 31, has updated her fans and announced that it’s been located.
“CAR FOUND!!!!!!!!” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “That’s the power of social media”.
Olivia went on: “The little huns had given me some cute new number plates and parked the car on a random street. Engine was still hot – AND we caught them coming back for it in broad daylight. Stunning.”
The Love Island star went on to say she was “drained af” but thanked everyone for their support and for their messages.
“Without all your messages and sightings I’d have never seen that car again,” Olivia said.
“I feel like we’re the avengers or something,” she quipped.
Olivia joins the likes of Kerry Katona in having her car stolen from outside her home.
Last year, the former Atomic Kitten singer had two cars taken – the most recent being just two days after Christmas.
Kerry’s fiancé Ryan Mahoney's Mercedes C63S was stolen from their driveway on Monday 27 December.
She was "in bits" over the ordeal at the time as she posted on her Instagram story.
Writing on her Instagram story on Tuesday 28 December, Kerry told her 790,000 followers: "So they've stolen Ryan's car off our drive last night!!! Mercedes cC63S!!
"They've been to my home! I'm in bits!! Please if you know anything please ring the police" Kerry urged.
She continued in another post: "Two cars in 11 days! I've been watched and followed! I don't feel safe!! Absolutely heartbroken".
Kerry later told OK! that the ordeal left her “traumatised”.
"I am traumatised my car was stolen right in front of me," she said. "It was horrible. I watched my car drive off before me all the way to the bottom of the road.
"I had £300 worth of presents in the back of the car. What triggered me, even more, is that I’ve been burgled before. It massively triggered me because the police said you’ve probably been targeted and have been watched. That’s what I don’t like, it really scares me."
