American actor Austin Butler showed his respect to the late Lisa Marie Presley by wearing an all-black outfit to the Critics Choice Awards three days after her death.
The talented star – who played the King himself in Baz Luhrmann's latest cinematic masterpiece Elvis – showed his grief following Lisa Marie's death after she tragically went into cardiac arrest last week.
Austin, 31, walked the red carpet at the US awards show alongside costume designer Catherine Martin and director Baz on 15 January, the trio all donning all-black outfits.
Austin wore a black silk shirt – worn open collar – paired with a simple black blazer and black suit trousers.
Director Baz wore a traditional black tuxedo, and designer Catherine donned a black embellished blazer with matching glasses.
Mother-of-four Lisa Marie's death comes days after she attended the 80th annual Golden Globe awards on Tuesday, where Austin took home the best actor award for his portrayal of her famed father.
Speaking at a pre-ceremony event, she said she had been "overwhelmed" by the film and the effect that it had, adding: "I’m very proud and I know that my father would be very proud".
Lisa Marie attended the Golden Globes alongside Austin, who commended her in his winner's speech.
It was confirmed last Thursday that Lisa Marie, 54 – the only child of legendary singer Elvis – had been hospitalised after paramedics administered CPR at her home in Calabasas.
Her mother Priscilla Presley was later seen arriving at the hospital to be by her side, with Lisa Marie's tragic death being confirmed just hours later.
Elvis' ex-wife Priscilla, 77, said in a statement following his daughter's death: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
"She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment."
Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood has shared his sadness over her death in a touching tribute.
Speaking via his lawyer Joe Yanny, he said: "Michael had been hoping for a speedy and complete recovery because her children needed her.
"It is very sad it didn't turn out that way. Michael's world has been turned on its ear. He is with both of his daughters now."
Michael's lawyer went on to share that his prayers are with Lisa Marie's mother Priscilla and the rest of the family.
Lisa Marie and Michael, 61, who is a guitarist and producer, married in 2006 and welcomed twin daughters Finley and Harper, both 14, two years later.
But the pair decided to split in 2016 and became embroiled in a brutal divorce.
Lisa Marie also shared two children with ex Danny Keough. They had daughter Riley, 33, and son Benjamin, who sadly died in 2020 at the age of 27.
