She has also continued her passion for acting with her own Sketch show called The Emily Atack Show.

Amid the announcement of her new series, Emily said: “I am thrilled to be announcing this.

“I want to create and write a sketch show that gives snap shots into the weird and hilarious world of everyday life as a young (ish) person. I can guarantee whatever age you are you will relate in some way!

“It’s a dream come true, since I was a child this is the kind of television I’ve wanted to make and be part of. I can’t quite believe it.”

But how is Emily related to Sir Paul McCartney?

Sir Paul McCartney and Emily are related through the actress’s grandmother Elizabeth Robbins.

Therefore, through Emily’s grandmother, the actress and The Beatles star are first cousins twice removed.

Ahead of her debut into the I’m a Celebrity jungle, Emily gave an insight into her relationship with the iconic singer.

She explained: “He is really big on family. These days I call him Paul, and he always takes an interest in what I am up to.

“We always used to go around to Paul’s house for his amazing New Year’s Eve parties and I was once crying on the sofa because I had this horrible, mean boyfriend. He was vile.

“Paul sat next to me and said, ‘Babe, don’t waste time loving someone who doesn’t love you’.”

In an interview earlier this year, Emily continued: “He is my grandma’s first cousin – I see him as an uncle really.

“We used to go to his house a lot and have Sunday lunch. He’s a lovely man, a family man. He’s been very kind to us all.

“But, yes, growing up with a Beatle was pretty fun. I’ve got a great picture of me and him on my fridge, holding his pet tortoise.

“We always get VIP tickets to his concerts. Maybe that’s how I’ll get someone to marry me one day: ‘Hey, I have VIP Paul McCartney tickets!'”

The Jonathan Ross Christmas Show will air tonight on ITV from 10pm.
