Emmerdale’s Isobel Steele wows with rarely-seen brother in glow-up after quitting soap

Former Emmerdale star Isobel Steele has beaten the January blues by heading off to go skiing with her family.

The 22 year old actress debuted a shorter hairstyle than the long locks she sported whilst playing Liv Flaherty on the ITV soap.

She posted a number of snaps of the trip to Instagram, where she could be seen beaming alongside her rarely-seen brother, Conrad. The siblings coordinated in bright pink tops, although Conrad wore a black zip up over his.

Isobel looked stunning and fresh-faced for the snap, as she wore her hair down to show off her new shorter style as she clutched a glass of wine.

It looked like there was a big group for the ski trip as Isobel added more snaps as she enjoyed some drinks at an après bar, and stood alongside her pals for a picturesque snap on the mountain.

She captioned the post: "Obligatory ski pics," as her fans rushed to comment.

One fan wrote: "Wow looks beautiful x" whilst another wrote: "izzi stunning as usual hope ur avin a great holiday x".

A third commented: "Isobel is so damn gorgeous !! Prettiest girl I’ve seen for a long long time. Always breathtaking but makes it look so damn effortless !! Jealous."

Isobel played Liv Flaherty on Emmerdale for six years until her character was killed off in a dramatic fashion in October, during the soap's explosive 50th birthday episode.

Newlywed Liv was crushed by a caravan as a wind storm ravaged Emmerdale village and her exit was an emotional one.

Liv and husband Vinny Dingle were left lifeless after being crushed by the vehicle while making their way to The Woolpack to look after Paddy Kirk's daughter Eve.

During Wednesday's episode, Vinny was able to free himself from the wreckage but Liv was left trapped and unable to get out as she shared emotional goodbyes with her loved ones before dying.

According to reports, Isobel quit the soap to focus on other projects including her music career.

A source told The Sun: "It’s been a big decision for Isobel but she’s ready to try new things.

"She feels like she’s done all she can at Emmerdale and wants to focus on her music career and make a real go of it. Bosses have pulled out all the stops for the 50th anniversary month and Isobel’s exit will be no different.

"Viewers are going to be on the edge of their seats as it all plays out and Liv is killed off. It’s a real heartbreaker, a death fans will remember for a long time to come."
