Ariana Grande‘s brother Frankie is celebrating his sister as she moves on after her split from fiancé Pete Davidson.
The pop star’s older brother raved about her performance during NBC’s “A Very Wicked Halloween” special, which marked her first appearance after her engagement to the “SNL” star was called off.
“It was the best thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” he told us while dressed as Guy Diamond from “Trolls,” at Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween bash on Wednesday night. “I watched the clip like six times, she was brilliant.”
The tribute to the Broadway musical’s 15-year-anniversary, which aired on October 29, was taped just days after she returned the $93,000 engagement ring to the young comedian.
Sources told us at the time that the 25-year-old had skipped rehearsals, but was at the Marquis Theatre to film come showtime. She wore a bandage on her left ring finger, conveniently covering up the tattoo that reads “Pete.”
“She showed up to film the special even though she wasn’t at rehearsal, so she’s making her comeback,” we were told. “She was incredible, she wore a green satin top and sang ‘The Wizard & I.’”
Describing the performance as “Broadway but with Ariana’s pop sensibilities,” Frankie said, “I think the world was just blown away by her, again, and in a new way which I thought was beautiful.”
And in regards to his metallic, barely-there costume, Frankie told us it took four hours to complete the look.
“Anything that involves glitter and sparkles or rhinestones and crystals is good for me,” he said.
