Gemma Collins was rushed for treatment for a burst ear drum whilst on holiday in Israel, as she thanked doctors for their help.
The former TOWIE star has been in Bethlehem, Israel, on a "spiritual journey" with her fiancé Rami Hawash and his son Tristan, as they visited the place that Jesus was born, leaving Gemma "totally blown away".
But the trip wasn't all plain sailing as Gemma, 41, took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she had burst her ear drum, saying "it could only happen to me".
She shared a snap of herself smiling with her doctor as she wrote: "Thank you so much to this wonderful doctor in Israel who helped me today when my eardrum burst!!!
"It could only happen to me. This doctor was wonderful."
She then posted another snap with the doctor, as she rocked a multi-coloured wrap cardigan over a white top and jeans. She went makeup-free for the snap and her blonde hair was worn loose.
Gemma wrote alongside the snap: "Everyone in Haifa has been so kind and welcoming. I am now off to Tel Aviv," before asking for recommendations in her next post.
During her spiritual visit to see Jesus' birthplace in Bethlehem, an overwhelmed Gemma was left in tears as she shared the ‘most breathtaking, unreal experience’ of her life.
She said: “Guys, I’m in the church in Bethlehem. I’ve got tears rolling down my face, this is the most breathtaking, unreal, experience in my life and the feeling…you cannot describe it.
“I’m just so overwhelmed with emotion, I hope everyone gets to experience this once in their life.”
She added: “The feeling here makes my hair stand on its end…it’s just, I’m breathless. It’s just so beautiful.”
Before leaving, she purchased a bunch of gold candles before lighting them at a vigil next to a statue of Jesus as a baby.
Gemma also posted a snap of herself and her stepson Tristan during their time in the church as she wrote: "Such a beautiful moment shared with my stepson in Bethlehem."
The trip was a Christmas present from Gemma's fiancé Rami, who is from Israel, as she said that she had "always wanted to go" and hadn't seen Rami's family "for nearly ten years".
She told her BBC Sounds Podcast: “He wants to take me to Bethlehem and Jerusalem. He’s from Isreal and I’ve always wanted to go.
“I haven’t seen Rami’s family for nearly 10 years. It’s going to be really nice. Now I’m getting older, I like to be a bit of a tourist. I would love to see Bethlehem. I’m really excited, so that’s my Christmas present.”
