George Michael’s former Sydney home has been sold for a record price, just 37 days after it went on the market.
The five-bedroom home, in the city’s upmarket Northern Beaches, was the British star’s getaway when he travelled Down Under.
It was last sold in 2020 for $5.8m, and listed again last week for $15m but did not reach is advertised price.
The oceanfront home in Palm Beach was first spotted by the Careless Whisper hitmaker in 2010 on tour in Australia. with him renting it on various trips to Australia.

B.J. Edwards, of LJ Hooker Palm Beach, told RealEstate.com.au three buyers loved the 333 Whale Beach Road house as each room had an ocean view.
The home now holds the record for the most expensive in the area, previously set at $12m for 339 Whale Beach Rd which sold in 2021.
Palm Beach is one of Sydney’s most expensive areas, with homes regularly selling for millions.
