TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou has explained to fans that her baby boy will be arriving sooner than she and partner Tommy Mallet previously thought.

The star, 29, took to her Instagram stories to reveal that the baby is in a breech position, meaning he is sat feet first in the womb and she needs to have a cesarean birth.

Georgia told her Instagram followers: “Baby update. So I haven’t updated you at all. I keep forgetting that because I’m filming our own show, obviously I’m filming that so I feel like I’m updating you but obviously it’s not out yet.

“So baby is coming early than we thought because I’m having a C-Section. Baby is breech. I’ll talk more about it on the show, I go into depth so I’m not going to bore you with that. But because of that, I have not stopped. I know everyone keeps saying you need to rest, but he’s coming quicker than we thought so I’ve had to get organised.”

The star then went on to give an update on her work schedule, adding: “Next week I’m stopping TOWIE filming. I’ll still be filming our show. Just because it’s going to be too much for me, I need to rest before the baby comes.

“The good thing is, to be honest, I’ve cut my days down on TOWIE anyway and I am slowly starting to cut down on work. But he’ll be coming quicker than we thought. At least I know the date, I’m not going to obviously tell you the date but obviously you’ll know one day when I post.”

Georgia then apologised for not updating fans as much on her pregnancy as she would like, but said: “It will be on our show, so you will feel like you’re on this journey with me.

“The days are going so quick and I just can’t keep up with anything.”

Since announcing her pregnancy news, Georgia has shared her journey with fans and spoken about her feelings on becoming on a mum both on TOWIE and in social media posts.

Earlier this month, she revealed she had a breakdown after she and Tommy moved into their new house.

She told Bobby Norris: “It’s been a lot and I would never recommend doing a house up and moving while you’re pregnant, but we’re getting there. Tommy has been there all hours of the day, getting that house ready for me.

"I had a breakdown about a month ago, because I was like, 'I need my house. I need to nest.'

"You get this urge to get everything sorted. People who are pregnant at the same time as me, I’ve had to mute them on Instagram. They’ve got their s**t together, they’ve got all their clothes washed and I’m living out of boxes and moving house.”
