The Grammy Museum has announced the reopening of “Motown: The Sound Of Young America,” their exhibit highlighting the major artists and musical achievements of the famed record label.
Attendees will be able to experience the exhibit when it is safe to reopen the Museum doors again.
In celebration of the reopening, Spotlight Saturdays, the Museum’s virtual program series featuring interviews and performances with rising artists, will feature some exhibit content for the month of December on its streaming platform, COLLECTION:live.
The Museum will spotlight the content along with Chaz French on December 12, Joy Denalane on December 15, NJOMZA on December 16 and Asiahn on December 19.
“While the Museum’s doors may still be closed, our curatorial team has been hard at work preparing for our reopening,” President of the Grammy Museum Michael Sticka said in a statement.
He added, “We are thrilled to finally update everyone about some of what our community can look forward to when that time comes, while still making some of that content available virtually in the meantime.”
