Yasmin Finney is booked and busy!
The 19-year-old Heartstopper actress has now been announced to be starring in a new short film, Mars, based on a song by Yungblud.
If you didn’t know, the song “Mars” was inspired by a young fan that Yungblud met while on tour.

Yasmin will star in the short film as “Charlie Acaster, a teenager who has only ever wanted to live a normal existence but an extraordinary night makes her reassess what truly matters,” according to Deadline.
Yungblud is producing, alongside Cat Marshall and Stefan Demetriou. Abel Rubenstein is the director and Chris Bush the writer.
“Yasmin is a striking performer,” Abel said. “She has the ability to tell a whole story with a single look. She utterly embodied the character of Charlie whilst also bringing so much more.”
The short film is said to be premiering at a major film festival later this year.
Also coming up for Yasmin is the second season of Heartstopper, which starts filming soon, as well as the upcoming next series of Doctor Who, where she has a history making role!
