Jada Pinkett Smith Celebrates Bald Is Beautiful Day Months After Will Fumed at Chris Rocks Joke

The ‘Red Table Talk’ co-host shares a selfie of her looking stunning in a gold gown while sporting her bald head, six months after her husband slapped Chris at Oscars over the latter’s remark about her shaved head.

AceShowbizJada Pinkett Smith oozes confidence in her latest social media update. Celebrating national “Bald Is Beautiful Day”, the actress posted a stunning selfie on her Instagram account, months after Chris Rock‘s joke about her shaved head at the Oscars.

The “Red Table Talk” co-host took to the photo-sharing platform on Tuesday, September 13 to unveil the never-before-seen shot of her looking glowing in a golden dress. Sporting her bald head and red lipstick, she captioned the snap, “Happy Bald is Beautiful day to all my brothers and sisters with no hair.”

The comment section was quickly flooded with praises from her fans and followers as one person gushed, “Beyond Beautiful.” Another dubbed Jada “flawless,” while a third user exclaimed, “glowwwwwwww queen!!!!!!!”

Jada celebrated the “Bald Is Beautiful Day” six months after her husband Will Smith was enraged by Chris’ joke about her shaved head at the Academy Awards ceremony in March. The “King Richard” star slapped the comedian, who was presenting onstage, and shouted at Chris twice to “keep my wife’s name out of your f**king mouth!”

Will has apologized several times for his behavior at the live event. In a video posted in July, the actor said, “It’s all fuzzy. I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk. I hate when I let people down. So it hurts, it hurts me psychologically and emotionally to know I didn’t live up to people’s image and impression of me.”

“And the work I’m trying to do is, I am deeply remorseful and I’m trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself,” he added. “I’m human and I made a mistake, and I’m trying not to think of myself as a piece of s**t.”

However, Chris seemingly didn’t accept the apology as he said earlier this month, “F**k your hostage video,” during his stand-up show at London’s O2 Arena. He went on calling out the Oscar-winning actor as saying that Will had managed to do an impersonation of a “perfect man for 30 years” before showing he is “just as ugly as the rest of us.”

Meanwhile, Jada addressed the incident in a June episode of her Facebook Watch series. “Now, about Oscar night,” she began touching on the subject, “my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.”

“The state of the world today? We need them both, and we all actually need one another more than ever,” she added. “Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.”
