James 'Arg' Argent has labelled himself the "ultimate celeb wedding singer" and revealed what star-studded weddings he's been asked to perform at.
The former TOWIE star, 35 is currently starring on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins which he described as "brutal" and said, "It is just as bad, if not worse as it looks". Since filming Arg has had a hectic summer as a full-time wedding singer and also performed at Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's epic festival-themed house party having finally completed their stunning mansion.
Speaking exclusively to OK! about the event, Arg said: "That was great fun – it was a celebration, he's got a beautiful house and I'm very proud of him. It was the moment it had finally finished and completed so it was a nice celebration for his friends and family.
"And obviously, if you're going to do a festival in your garden the number one choice is always going to be The Arg Band", Arg jokingly added.
The 35-year-old went on to say "I'm the ultimate celebrity wedding singer now" as he revealed to OK!, "I've been confirmed to sing at Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet's wedding which will be nice.
"I've also been asked to sing at Amy Hart's wedding and even Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh said when they get married they'd like me to get up and do a song as well.
"I'm the go-to wedding singer for celebrities now which is cool." Arg performs alongside his band, The Arg Band.
Asking how it feels Arg added: "It makes me proud because I know how good the band is and how tight the musicians are, I only have the best musicians that play with me, it's not just Arg from TOWIE getting up and doing a few songs.
"It's a proper solid, high-end band in its own right regardless of me being from reality TV."
Another notable celebrity wedding Arg performed at was when former Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle tied the knot with Emma McVey. Arg serenaded their guests with a collection of cover songs after the bride secretly planned the special moment.
Talking further about what he's been up to since appearing on SAS: Who Dares Wins, Arg told us: "It's just been a very very hectic time, wedding season has been crazy.
"It's been absolutely mental but it's slowing down slightly, I've got my last gig in Marbella next week then I'm in Majorca once more and after that, it will be all UK gigs and then I've got pantomime to look forward to."
Arg will be playing Peter Pan in the Hook panto at Kings Theatre alongside former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson in December this year. Following his hectic schedule Arg said: "I haven't really been at home for the last few months but added: "It's been amazing, going to different places in Europe doing gigs and being a part of people's special day, I love doing what I do".
The former TOWIE went on to say: "I'm putting all my energy into my party and function band, The Arg Band and I'm finally doing what I've always wanted to do as a full-time job."
