James Lock made his first public appearance following his ex girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou’s devastating car accident earlier this week as he attended Amazon’s Prime Day Dream House event in Shoreditch, London, on Wednesday.
The 35 year old showed up in a casually stylish outfit as he wore a khaki green open shirt with matching loose-fitting trousers and a white vest underneath, along with a pair of black sandals.
James looked solemn as he posed for the cameras before he made his way inside to begin the evening of live entertainment.
The TOWIE star’s attendance at the event comes after his ex Yazmin, 28, was seriously injured in a car accident in Bodrum, Turkey, where she had been travelling with on-and-off boyfriend Jake McLean.
Jake, 33, was driving the car at the time before it fell off a cliff and tragically died "at the scene" of the incident, which occurred on Sunday 4 July.
James and Yazmin also had an on-and-off relationship and dated for two years before they split in 2019, during which time Yazmin began her romance with Jake.
The pair reunited again earlier this year and were seen confirming their rekindled relationship in April, though they broke up again after that.
Yazmin remains in hospital following the crash however is in a stable condition after undergoing surgery, her representative confirmed on Monday.
A statement released on behalf of the reality star read: “Yazmin is stable and recovering in hospital after surgery. Yazmin and her family have requested privacy at this time. Any updates will be given in due course.”
James was spotted for the first time since ex Yazmin’s car crash on Monday as he filmed scenes for the latest series of TOWIE.
He was joined by his fellow Essex co-stars Amy Childs, Pete Wicks, Saffron Lempriere, Jordan Brook and Elma Pazar.
A bleeding Yazmin was reported to have pulled herself from the wreckage before she clambered back up the bank from where the car had fallen and waved down passing cars for help, according to an unnamed official who spoke to the MailOnline.
An official from Turkish Prosecutors Office in Bodrum said: “Yazmin's arm was bleeding and she somehow managed to get to the road. A passing car stopped, and the driver helped her with her injury and called emergency services.
“Jake died at the scene despite the attempts of paramedics to save him.”
