Jeremy Clarkson shares setting in Botwswana after flight mishap
Jeremy Clarkson shared a photo of himself enjoying a drink but rolling his eyes in mock indignation as he revealed he’d been “marooned AGAIN by British Airways” this afternoon.
As his girlfriend Lisa Hogan was spotted in the background enjoying a chilled drink beside him, he jokily quizzed his 7.1 million Instagram followers: “How much more of this can a man take?”
The 63-year-old TV star’s photo received close to 90,000 likes in just an hour, as he was urged to “hang on in there”.
Meanwhile, one fan, @m.begic99, matched his tone and joked: “Life is a struggle but you have to keep pushing. Sorry to hear you’re going through this.”
@eendruu chuckled: “I really believe this is a really devastating time, thoughts and prayers.”

@wimblepoochie then chimed in: “Well, as long as they supply you with plenty of Hawkstone,” referring to the Clarkson’s Farm star’s own brand of lager.
Express.co.uk has contacted British Airways for comment.
Earlier in the month, Jeremy had already answered that question by sharing footage of himself and co-star James May opening a well-stocked fridge at their Botswana camp, revealing copious supplies of both Coca Cola and of course Hawkstone beer.
“BA have messed up our flight home so we are marooned here at a luxury camp in Botswana,” he wrote of his predicament over on Instagram.
He cheekily added that there were just “40 staff” on-site, quipping: “It’s all about survival now!”

Jeremy followed up with a snapshot of a pool that afternoon, writing: “When BA delay a flight by 12 hours, do they not realise how much hardship they inflict on passengers? We are fighting to stay alive here.”
The following day, he complained that birds were “helping themselves to the sugar for my morning coffee”, and cheekily posted a photo of a jackal eating a carcass, joking that it was James May who had been killed for food.
Boosted by a humorous response from followers, he continued to post regular updates joking about what a terrible time he was having, including an epic snap of a meerkat surveying a sunset.
Jeremy, who had been filming episodes of The Grand Tour at the African location, chuckled: “James May has built a rudimentary shelter and we will cower here until BA get their act together. Pray for us.”
At that time, girlfriend Lisa was living it up thousands of miles away, enjoying the beach and an organic vineyard in the picturesque, flower-filled French village of Bormes-les-Mimosas.
Now, however, she’s reunited with Jeremy and the pair are stranded together.
Earlier this week, he announced that the filming for season three of Clarkson’s Farm was wrapped – and no doubt some epic episodes have been created for The Grand Tour, too.
No doubt in the coming months Clarkson fans will have a lot of footage to look forward to.
