Meghan Markle’s Archetype series took a nosedive in the podcast charts this week. Jeremy Clarkson has since addressed the Duchess of Sussex in his latest column.
The Clarkson’s Farm star addressed the royal but didn’t explain if he was referencing her Spotify podcast.
The former Top Gear presenter suggested Meghan had been vocal this week but he had not been paying attention.
The latest Archetypes episode titled “Beyond the Archetype: Human Being” saw Meghan discuss sexuality, identity and femininity.
Her guests this week included Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell as well as the former US National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman.
Writing in his latest column in The Sun, Jeremy penned: “Meghan [Markle] said something this week. I don’t know what it was and I don’t care.
“But I hope she keeps saying things because, eventually, everyone will tire of her and stop listening.”
Earlier this week, the tenth episode of Archetypes languished at 77 on the US Spotify chart.
Overall, the Archetypes podcast sits at number 22 in the charts – a dramatic drop-off after initially holding the top spot.
It has since been reported Meghan could be joined by a special guest on the podcast.
According to reports, a royal expert said that the Duchess of Sussex, 41, asked her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton to appear on her Archetypes podcast when she and husband Prince Harry, 38, were in the UK for the Queen’s funeral.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Neil Sean claimed: “While Meghan was over here, staying in Windsor at their cottage, she put out a request to the Princess of Wales, according to that good source, to appear on a forthcoming episode of Archetypes.
“It, kind of, makes sense if you think.”

He continued: “In Meghan’s eyes, this is because she based it along the idea of two Duchesses, as they then were at that point, and of course talking about how difficult it is to run a family, work-life and work balance.”
Express.co.uk has contacted Meghan Markle and Kate, Princess of Wales’ representatives for comment.
The Duchess of Sussex has had a number of famous faces appear on her podcast, including Mariah Carey, Serena Williams, and Mindy Kaling.
Elsewhere, Meghan has shared a new photo on Friday titled Giving Thanks, alongside a new photo of what appeared to be Meghan in a baseball cap and face mask helping to make pumpkin pie.
The message read: “Earlier this week, the Archewell Foundation Team helped prepare a Thanksgiving lunch for over 300 Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) residents in Los Angeles.”
It added: “DWC provides a wide array of resources to decrease barriers and end homelessness for all women including female veterans and their families, women with severe physical and mental health concerns and survivors of domestic violence.”
According to the site, the Archewell Foundation’s “core purpose is to uplift and unite communities — local and global, online and offline — one act of compassion at a time”.
Meghan has previously shared how much she loves to cook for her family.
