Jess Wright has shared the happy news that her baby nephew has finally gone home to his parents following his premature birth in February.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 37, took to Instagram on Sunday to share the heartwarming news, revealing that her brother Joshua, 33, and his wife Hollie have finally been able to bring their son, who they've named Dustin, home.
Jess, who is mum to one year old son Presley with husband William Lee-Kemp, shared a collection of adorable photographs of her nephew as the Wright family celebrated Easter together.
"Easter 2023 the day our Dustin came home. It’s been the longest road," she wrote.
The ex-TOWIE favourite continued: "This baby boy made his way into the world 12 weeks early & it’s been a very scary time for us all but most importantly, his mum & dad, who quite frankly have been nothing short of superheroes in my eyes how they have dealt with it. "
Jess went on to tell her younger brother and sister-in-law she is "so proud" of them both.
"@joshwright4444 @holliekanewright congratulations & i am so proud of you both. You know how I feel about you both & our little dusty. Not forgetting our joshie boy. Love you all & I can’t wait to spend many more Easter’s with our little brave warrior & his big brother & cousin," she added.
Baby Dustin was born prematurely at 28 weeks in February, weighing just 2.4lbs, and had been in hospital ever since.
Josh, who is also dad to one year old son Joshua with wife Hollie, opened up to OK! in March about his wife's early labour, saying: “It wasn’t a nice time, for any parent going through something like that. It’s opened my eyes to how many babies are born prematurely and the doctors and hospital have been incredible, we can’t thank them enough.”
He added: “He seems to be doing well, so long may that continue and please God we’ll have him home soon."
Hollie and Josh shared a post on Easter Sunday to celebrate their son coming home and also announced his full name, having finally decided on a moniker for their little one.
"We welcome home our other little Easter bunny," the couple began by writing. "Dustin Joshua Rory Wright. He's FINALLY coming home 8 weeks later, our little Dusty".
