The 33-year-old ‘Uncut Gems’ star is photographed hitting the Manhattan streets while carrying a life-size black ‘body bag’ purse during New York Fashion Week.
AceShowbiz –Julia Fox continues to show off her bold fashion during New York Fashion Week. In her signature style, the “Uncut Gems” actress was photographed in yet another statement-making fashion that some might find horror.
On Wednesday night, February 15, Julia was seen strutting her stuff while carrying a life-size black “body bag” purse. It was designed by Toronto-based designer Mikhael Kale, who revealed that the vinyl creation stood 6-feet tall and weighed 3.5 pounds. The corpse-like item looked creepy as it had a platinum blond wig and latex outfit.
The body bag purse, which the former girlfriend of Kanye West casually held in one of her hands, additionally donned towering platform boots that matched the 10-inch tall Pleaser pair that Julia wore that evening. “Seeing Julia Fox wearing my pieces is a dream come true; she was a muse of mine for this collection,” Mikhael shared in a statement.
Fans definitely had a lot to say upon catching wind of the 33-year-old star’s new look. “What world are we living in?!?!?!” a shocked fan commented after The Shade Room posted snaps of Julia’s heads-turning style.
“Y’all call anything fashion,” one person said. A third user added, “When you try way too hard.” Someone, meanwhile, joked that the body bag purse looked like Kim Kardashian. “Why she carrying Kim?” the person asked.
This wasn’t the only eye-catching style that Julia rocked during NYFW. Earlier this week, she made headlines after she stepped out for the fashion event in a black hooded crop top that barely covered her breast, showing plenty of underboob.
She paired it with a maxi skirt featuring cutouts exposing her butts and a horse-like tail attached to her backside. Completing her equestrian-themed look, Julia wore matching black high-heeled boots and a black Thom Browne “Fox” bag that also had its own life-like tail.
