Kate Middleton has "adopted a sense of power" that makes her "more confident" than her husband Prince William, a body language expert has claimed.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren Stanton explained the the Princess of Wales has shown her confidence through her fashion choices.
He argued that in the past, the 40 year old royal has opted for more informal and casual clothes, while these days fans see her dressed in more colourful attires, including reds, blues and purples.
"This shows that Kate is now adopting a personal sense of power," he explained, before adding: “She is also more confident and stable than Prince William whilst addressing the public."
He continued: "Although William has developed over the years, he has been known to display signs of nerves and timidness in certain situations, whereas Kate does not show any signs.
"She is most definitely the more dominant person in the relationship and is often on hand to support William.
"From her recent appearances, it’s clear Kate has now embraced and developed the skills she needs to eventually become Queen.”
Not only has Kate, whose parenting fears were reportedly solved by an emotional chat with the Queen before her death, developed the skills, according to Darren, but she's also "fully embraced" the idea of becoming the Queen in the future.
Referencing William's mother Diana's untimely death 1997 and the title Kate now holds, he said: "It’s obvious that it’s a position she holds in high regard".
"For lots of people the pressure of the media and attending royal events would cause sleepless nights and stress," he went on. "However, Kate has in fact shown a different approach as she appears a lot more confident.
"She now communicates on an even deeper level and leaves a lasting impression with all that she encounters."
Darren said that in the past, she showed signs of distress and nerves while out for official engagements, but has since changed to exude confidence.
And much like her late mother-in-law, Darren believes Kate, who was recently left "baffled" by Prince Harry's bombshell claims, is "very tactile and is often seen hugging people and shaking their hands".
"These are all indicators of creating trust and rapport, while putting people at ease very easily. This is something she has done in abundance since taking over the role of Princess of Wales," he said.
While she might be channeling Diana, Darren said she's "making the role her own".
