Katherine Ryan left an audience stunned this week when she made a joke about Cheryl's battle with malaria.
The Canadian comedian, 36, poked fun at the singer's body, before saying she couldn't be "knocked down" because she'd already survived the disease.
Her joke will air as part of The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan on Channel 4 tonight.
Katherine says in the show: "The nation's sweetheart! She's so tiny though. If she was born in the winter, she wouldn't have made it. Tiny!
"And you just can’t knock her down — even God tried. Malaria! She won't die. She's a very strong woman."
Cheryl suffered malaria in 2010 during a trip to Tanzania and was given 24 hours to live.
Katherine's jibes at Cheryl didn't end there though.
She later added: "She's done more damage to the North East than Margaret Thatcher."
The comic has made several jibes about the Love Made Me Do It songstress in the past.
In 2015 she asked to put Cheryl in Room 101 when she appeared on the BBC show.
Katherine quipped: "I don't believe she's human. Cheryl is a robotic creation."
