Katie Price defends Carl Woods and says people know ‘the real narcissist in her life’

Katie Price has defended her fiancé Carl Woods by hitting back at claims that her post about narcissism was referring to him.

It began when the 44 year old former glamour model posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories.

The star was re-sharing a video where a man talked about how "narcissists living double lives", but it quickly led to speculation about whether she was making a dig at her on-off flame, 33 year old ex-Love Islander Carl.

“Here are 3 ways that narcissists live double lives," the video began.

The man then called those with the condition "duplicitous" and claimed that all narcissists "lie".

He also said narcissistic people are often "outgoing and likeable in public but monsters at home," and claimed they have a tendency to "cheat" on their partners.

What's more, the man claimed narcissists often live a double life.

Later though, Katie put the speculation to bed in no uncertain terms as she shared a screenshot of an article.

The headline read: 'Katie Price takes cryptic swipe at ex Carl Woods as she shares post about ‘narcissists living double lives,' prompting Katie to slam the suggestion straight away.

“Isn’t it funny I put a post up and straight away journalists presume they think they know who I’m aiming at," she wrote alongside the image.

"Put it this way it’s [a] million percent not about @carljwoods.

"I think everyone knows who the real narcissist is in my life," the mum-of-five added firmly.

Katie and Carl's relationship status remains unclear, as the couple continue to be on-off in their engagement.

Earlier this year, the couple were said to have travelled to Thailand together, but fell out, and once again decided to call it quits with Carl flying home early.

In recent weeks, reports emerged once more that the pair had gotten back on track with their engagement though.

But only last week, Carl responded to one of his followers with a firm denial.

The fan claimed that the former Love Island star was an "absolute sucker" for "getting back together" with Katie, prompting him to respond that they were "definitely not" an item again.

Only days later, Carl was in attendance during Katie's appearance on the Jeremy Vine Show. The host asked if that was confirmation that the duo had gotten back together.

“Well he's here, there you go," Katie replied simply. "We have reunited.”
