The seasons have officially crossed over from spring to summer, and Kendall Jenner is leading the way on transitional dressing.
Yesterday, the model was spotted in West Hollywood wearing an outfit that showed off her minimalistic yet classic off-duty style. Jenner opted for a plain black cami, which she paired with a denim midi skirt from The Row and a pair of black loafers. For accessories, she carried a large black tote bag, also from The Row, plus a bright orange wallet from Hermès. She topped the ensemble off with rectangular shades in black.
During a Los Angeles outing earlier this week, Jenner wore another summer-worthy ensemble, trying her hand at the coastal grandmother aesthetic.
The 818 Tequila founder put a sexy spin on the burgeoning style movement, wearing an itty-bitty gray tank top and a floral bikini top under a baby blue button-up by Almina Concept. She finished the look with powder-yellow shorts by Aritzia, which she wore with the waistline rolled down, plus black Adidas sneakers, black sunnies, and a spacious black tote bag.
In case you missed the memo, TikToker @lexnicoleta coined the “coastal grandmother” fad in a video posted at the end of March.
“What is coastal grandmother, you ask?” she explains in the clip. “It’s a term that I coined for this aesthetic: If you love Nancy Meyers movies, coastal vibes, recipes and cooking, Ina Garten, cozy interiors, and more, there’s a good chance you might be a coastal grandmother. And, no, you don’t have to be a grandmother to be a coastal grandmother.”
