For Khloé Kardashian, weight loss and fitness are about so much more than just a number.
This week on a livestream alongside big sis Kourtney Kardashian, the Revenge Body host got VERY real about shedding the pounds after giving birth to True Thompson in 2018 and the workout journey she’s been on ever since!
Speaking with Kourt for her lifestyle outlet Poosh, the 35-year-old youngest Kardashian sister must’ve felt comfortable, because she revealed her actual weight! Like, the actual number! Who does that?! Talk about being open and vulnerable!!
Reflecting on her efforts to lose more than 60 pounds after True’s birth, the former radio host got really real, saying (below):
“If you’re trying to lose a significant amount of weight, diet and exercise go hand in hand. Now that I’m in my weight vicinity goal… I’m around 150. It goes up a little. When it goes into the high 140’s I’m like, ‘Woo! It’s the dream.’”
Always nice to hear about a woman in a high-profile position like that who doesn’t starve herself to weigh an unattainable 100 pounds or something, ya know? Healthy weights, healthy goals, healthy lifestyles — amen!!!
Speaking of not starving, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been a little less strict about her diet of late, too. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, she’s decided not to restrict it as much as she otherwise would, explaining her relatively new outlook on the uncertainties of life to Kourt:
“I don’t really watch what I eat. That doesn’t mean I’m binge eating bags of chips all day. We have good diets. I love quesadillas, I love anything True’s eating. live a miserable life depriving myself . You never know if tomorrow’s happening. I would rather put more effort into the gym than the kitchen.”
Amen to that! If there’s anything we’ve collectively learned in the last two months, it’s that the world can change in an instant, and pretty much anything can happen.
Summing up her philosophy, Khloé closed things out with a great, wholesome outlook on what really matters in life — fitness and health, of course, but also the “greatness” of life beyond all that.
The reality TV star said:
“Once you get to your goal, it’s OK to maintain and maintaining does not mean depriving yourself of the greatness of life. You got to have the cake if it’s available!”
Very well said, Khloé!
Reactions, Perezcious readers?! What do U think about the proud momma just casually dropping her weight in like that?! And what about her health tips — are they realistic and relatable to you??
