Kim Kardashian was forced to tell off her sons Saint West and Psalm West during a TV interview, in a rare moment of insight into her discipline style and the family's dynamics.
The reality TV star, 41, appeared on the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday 21 June, with her two sons in tow, and it was the first time she'd ever brought them along to a work commitment.
Unfortunately, the newly-platinum blonde beauty spent much of the time scolding them for being too loud backstage.
It began when the mum-of-four started to talk about her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live back in October, as she admitted she'd never watched the show previously.
Unable to concentrate, Jimmy cut in: "I'm hearing kids.
Realising she could also hear her sons chatting and giggling backstage, Kim turned her head to the door.
"Guys – guys, can you stop?" she called out. "This is, like, your first time at work with me. Can you please?"
While Kim was smiling, the exasperation of having to tell off her sons Saint, six, and Psalm, three, during a work gig was palpable.
The little boys were stood with their friend Remi, who is the six year old daughter of KKW Chief Communications Officer Tracy Romulus, a close working pal of Kim who appeared regularly on the new series of The Kardashians.
"My two boys are here and I hear them making so much noise," the SKIMS brand owner went on. "Guys, this is your first time at work with me. Don't mess this up. Come on," she ordered.
Kim had appeared on the chat show to discuss her latest project with the company, a skincare line called SKKN.
She also shared details on eldest daughter North's abilities as a makeup artist, saying the nine year old has started to enjoy creating special effect makeup.
"She does, like, really good, like, wounds and scars," Kim explained. "She's really good at it so she was taking classes. She wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party, so I took them out camping in the wilderness."
Kim then had to halt the interview once more as she returned to telling off her other children, who were causing chaos in the wings once more.
"Guys, seriously. You got to… you got to go," she said, before joking to the chat show host that her youngest had finally been taken away from the door for being too loud.
Despite juggling her brood in difficult circumstances, Kim was incredibly proud of her daughter's achievements.
Asked how North became interested in makeup, the social media star said: "I have no idea how she got into it but I got her a teacher to show her and get all of the supplies so she wanted to teach her girlfriends.
"And we took about eight kids, eight girls and we went camping in the wilderness and she wanted it to be really spooky. There was a whole class that she taught her friends how to do special-effects wounds and scars and she's really good at it," the proud mum added.
