Kim Kardashian West and her rapper husband Kanye are rumoured to be in the midst of finalising their divorce, but they have not yet publicly confirmed their split.

Now a source close to Kim, 40, has claimed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is keen for Kanye to continue to have a relationship with their four young kids, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and one year old Psalm.

A source told E! News: "He still wants to play a huge role in their lives and Kim would never discourage that.

"He is no longer living at the house with Kim and the kids. When he sees the kids, he meets them elsewhere."

The source added: "They are at a standstill currently and neither of them are pushing [to make the split official]. At this point in time, there is no rush for the paperwork to be finalised."
