King Charles III is said to be facing issues in his plan to bring children Prince William and Prince Harry together for his coronation in May.
With only three months to go until the ceremony, Charles' hopes of estranged brothers William, 40, and Harry, 38, reconciling at the event seem less likely by the minute, according to an expert.
Journalist Daniela Elser has claimed that 73 year old Charles’ plan, coined the ‘Harry in a Hurry’ mission, for the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex to reunite is “rife with problems”.
The King’s desire to have both his boys at the coronation would prove awkward, as Harry, no longer being an active royal, wouldn’t have much else to do while in the UK.
Rifts within the Royal Family will only increase tensions should the brothers reunite, Ms Elser also claimed.
The expert wrote in her column: “Which brings us to this latest 'Harry in a hurry' scheme, which is in itself, rife with problems.
"There is the fact that there will be wider official events and royal outings beyond the religious ceremony raising the question of what, if any, part [Harry] might play."
It is not yet clear if Harry will attend the coronation, with his wife Meghan Markle.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the former senior royals are "expected to be attending King Charles III’s coronation in May”, following an invitation from the monarch.
A royal source told The Sun: "They will definitely be invited, and we are working on the assumption that they will come.
"It would be helpful if they came earlier though so it's not a total circus on the day.”
OK! approached Harry, Meghan and King Charles' representatives for comment.
The UK will see its first coronation in 70 years, celebrating the nation’s new king, as the ceremony is held on Saturday 6 May through to Monday 8 May.
Should he accept his invitation from Charles, Harry’s appearance at the coronation will mark his first public appearance with brother William, following the release of his bombshell autobiography Spare.
The memoir, which dropped last month, revealed details from Harry about his turbulent and deeply fractured relationship with William.
In the book, Harry claimed he was physically attacked by William and knocked to the floor during a confrontation over Meghan.
It was reported last month that Charles and William “haven't spoken to Prince Harry” following the book release.
