Lana Del Rey shared the artwork for her upcoming spoken word album, Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, which was originally set to release on January 4.
A new official release date for the spoken word album has not yet been revealed.
On Saturday, the singer took to Instagram with a single-deleted post to unveil the cover art, which shows a painting of an orange tree by Erika Lee Sears. In the caption, Del Rey described the release as an “audiobook of poems” with music by Jack Antonoff.
The songstress had announced the project in December 2019 and said that she would contribute half of the proceeds to Native American organizations.
“I just really wanted to sort of pay homage to this country that I love so much by doing my own reparation, I guess I would say, my own reparative act,” Del Rey said in an Instagram video.
