Lauren Harries gives fans a health update and says ‘support is what keeps me going’ as she remains in hospital following a coma
Lauren Harries gave fans a health update on Thursday, revealing she has been in hospital for three and a half months now.
The former Celebrity Big Brother house mate, 45, detailed that the support from fans is what keeps her going after being in an induced coma.
She appeared to be in positive spirits as she smiled and blew a kiss for her fans, while wrapping her head in a lavish Louis Vuitton scarf.
In a video she shared on Instagram, Lauren praised fans for their ‘love’ and ‘support and said she is spending time to appreciate things more.
She said: ‘Hello everyone, It’s been a long time since I was on here. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and thank you so much for all your support, for all of your love, I don’t know what I would do without it.

‘You’re all my angels and you are all my stars, I just wanted to say a big hello and a big surprise to you all and I think of you everyday and your support is what keeps me going.
‘I love you, your my sweetheart, your my angels, your my stars, your the sun in the sky, your the stars that shine, your beautiful and I love you.’
After blowing a kiss to the camera, she continued: ‘Well I’m still in the hospital and I’m just enjoying a bit of time with my brother Adam.
‘It’s been three and a half months now, but I’ve always said It’s the best time to be positive and to love life.’
Her emotional health update comes after her mum shared a heartbreaking health update after the star was left bedridden and will remain in hospital following a failed operation on her spine.
Lauren was admitted in April after suffering horrific headaches and blackouts and later went for emergency brain surgery.
Her mother Katy revealed that during an MRI scan doctors found a split in Lauren’s spine leading to her needing ‘high-risk’ surgery.
However Katy has sadly informed fans that the operation was ‘unsuccessful’ and Lauren will be staying in hospital for the foreseeable future despite being desperate to ‘get home’.

Via her daughter’s official Twitter account she wrote: ‘Lauren has had to have Spinal Surgery due to a split in her spine. This was very painful, It’s worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain’.
‘Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful so drs are looking into other options. She’s been in hospital now for over 2.5 months’.
Before adding: ‘Her spine is concerning for doctors and she will be staying for longer. We don’t know why or how this happened. She just wants to get home’.
Last month it was reported that Lauren had been put into an induced coma after having major brain surgery.
Her family updated fans and shared on Lauren’s Twitter: ‘Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control.
‘Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all.’
