Letitia Wright has spoken out on her "brother" Chadwick Boseman as she was interviewed on the red carpet at the 80th Golden Globe Awards on 10 January in California.
The 29 year old actress, who has had an impressive career from Holby City to starring in the Avengers, looked incredible in a floor-length gown with a thigh-high split, featuring white orange and dark brown hues from head to toe.
Sporting diamond earrings and a smokey eyeshadow, Letitia couldn't help but steal the show ahead of the awards ceremony – which starts at 1am UK time.
Speaking on a possible third movie in the Black Panther universe, the actress said she's "manifesting" its return.
"I think it's already in the works," she told journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister, before explaining that it'll take a while as they all "need a break".
She continued: "I believe good words manifest, so I'm manifesting a Black Panther 3, why not?"
Letitia then spoke about her "brother" Chadwick, who passed away at the age of 43 back in 2020 following a secret four-year battle with cancer.
When asked how she's planning to honour him at the awards, the star replied: "We're nominated for many awards, one of them being best supporting actress with Angela Bassett and that's just a reflection on the hard work we put into it, the dedication to the story, to our characters.
"We honour him by just celebrating tonight."
Angela has been nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture alongside the likes of Kerry Condon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dolly De Leon and Carey Mulligan.
Paying tribute to Chadwick during her speech at the awards, she said: "We embarked on this journey together with love. We mourned, we loved, we healed and we were surrounded each and everyday by the light and the spirit of Chadwick Boseman.
"We have joy in knowing that this historic Black Panther series – it is a part of his legacy that he helped to lead us to. We showed, we showed the world what black unity, leadership and love looks like beyond, behind and in front of the camera."
She ended: "We just made history with this nomination and this award. And it belongs to all of you, to all of us."
The movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been nominated for Best Original Song, Motion Picture, too.
The Golden Globes is making a grand return to screens after taking a break following accusations that organisers, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, had acted unethically and had failed to increase diversity among their members.
This year, the HFPA has expanded its membership and enforced a strict code of conduct among voters. This has led many celebrities to make the decision to attend.
Comedian Jerrod Carmichael is set to host the event, while nominees including Jamie Lee Curtis and Austin Butler will also be in attendance.
