Lili Reinhart is legit the definition of picture-perfect at tonight’s VMAs. The Riverdale actress showed up in a sheer black lace gown, giving major goth vibes. But if you don’t believe me, see the proof for yourself!

This is the first major carpet Lili has been on since the Met Gala in May, when the Riverdale actor called out Kim Kardashian for seemingly glorifying disordered eating after she revealed that she lost a total of 16 pounds in three weeks in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s gown.

“To walk on a red carpet and do an interview where you say how starving you are…because you haven’t eaten carbs in the last month…all to fit in a f*cking dress? So wrong. So f*cked on 100s of levels,” Lili began in an Instagram Story after the event. “To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word. The ignorance is otherworldly disgusting.”

In a more recent interview with IndieWire, the actor addressed the comments, saying: “I definitely go on rants on social media, I’m very guilty of that. I don’t like to just sit idly by, I don’t like to keep my mouth shut…I’ve got a lot to say and no one else really seems to be.”

She added that disordered eating, in particular, is an especially important topic to her. “I’ve certainly been to the point where I thought, I need help, that I’m not okay mentally, that I wish I could go somewhere,” she said. “Unfortunately, a lot of the resources are $90,000 retreats in Malibu, and I’m not about to just go sit on a lounge chair and have therapy for five days and be like, ‘Cool! I’m better!’ I wish there were better resources for mental health, and in the sense that people need to be taken more seriously when they’re struggling.”
