The Love Island final is just a day away, and the four couples who have made it will be revealed in Sunday night's episode.

Host Maya Jama, 28, is set to enter the villa as she will reveal which couple has been dumped, after the public were given the chance to vote between Ella B and Mitch or Whitney and Lochan as the least compatible couple.

Maya asks: “Please can we gather around the fire pit? Here we go!”

As the Islanders gather at the fire pit, Maya says: “Islanders. As you know, whilst on your romantic dates you were asked to vote which couple you thought were the least compatible. I’m now going to reveal who each of you voted for.”

The Ella B and Mitch and Whitey and Lochan are in the running after the Islanders had their final dates, with each of them deciding who they thought was the least compatible pairing.

Ella B and Mitch got four votes from the other couples, whilst they themselves voted for Whitney and Lochan.

Elsewhere on Sunday night's episode, the Islanders will unleash their competitive sides as they take part in a Sports Day challenge.

Molly receives a text which reads: “Islanders. It’s time to unleash your competitive side in today’s challenge Sports Day. #InItToWinIt #NoSweat”

On the Blue team, captained by Molly, is Mitch, Jess, Ella B and Lochan, whilst the Red team, led by Tyrique, comprises of Whitney, Sammy, Zach and Ella.

But tensions rise between fan-favourite couple, Ella and Tyrique, as they clash when Ella admits that "little things are irritating me today".

Ella says to Tyrique: “Anytime I speak on anything it becomes a big thing.”

Never one to hold back on his feelings, Tyrique asks her: “What’s your problem?" before adding: “We’ve been through this – communication.”

Ella retorts: “Sometimes when I say something and I’ve said this to you before – you shut me down all the time.”

The pair have had a tempestuous relationship in the villa, since the public voted for them to be coupled up from Day One.

Despite their challenges, however, they've come up trumps during their time in the villa, even saying 'I love you' to one another.

On their final date, Tyrique plucked up the courage to ask Ella to officially be his girlfriend, which she was thrilled to do.

Molly and Zach told each other they loved each other during their own final date – a Barbie-themed pool party.

Mitch and Ella B became exclusive, and Ella B was on Cloud 9 after their date, until she learned that Mitch had called her 'fake' to the other Islanders.

She tearfully confronted him, and he told her he had "just had a moment" and that his past relationships had affected how he felt.
