Former Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri has pulled back the curtain on the show while revealing behind-the-scenes secrets.
Tasha, who starred in season eight of the show with Gemma Owen and Luca Bish last summer, is one of the very few Islanders who are still with their on-screen partner.
Tasha and Andrew Le Page have gone from strength to strength since leaving the show, having moved in together and jetting off to Australia to visit Tasha’s brother.
On Tuesday, the model and dancer took to Instagram to answer some burning questions from her 1.5 million Instagram followers.
One notable moment came when a follower asked: "How come you asked Andrew to be your boyfriend the night after Billy?"
The fan referred to the moment on the show when Tasha coupled up with Billy Brown following the infamous Casa Amor segment, before she later changed her mind, with the pair reuniting and her asking Andrew, 27, to be her boyfriend.
Andrew, who recently called Tasha his “soulmate”, then chose to couple up with Tasha during the following week’s coupling.
Responding to the follower, Tasha explained: "Okay, so I'm going to put this one to bed.
"We actually had a few rest days before I asked Andrew to be my boyfriend," she revealed. "In those rest days you don't sleep with your couple and [it] doesn't get filmed.
"Me and Andrew spent time together in those rest days. Soooo, remember you don't see EVERYTHING.”
Last year, Tasha gushed about her relationship in an exclusive interview with OK! where she also alluded to wedding bells in the near future.
She explained: “We’re really happy. We’re thriving every day and I’m so proud of him. Sometimes we can’t believe this is our life.
"There will be days where we feel a bit overwhelmed and might be a bit down, but we have each other to come home to and we always make sure we have time for each other and are there for one another.”
After previously admitting that she is ready for a proposal, Tasha continued: “He knows what ring I want. He knows the shape I want and what colour.
"I’ve said to him I want to try it on first as I really want a nice baby blue or aqua colour stone and I need to see if the colour suits my hand.
"He actually said to me the other day, ‘Should we just go ring shopping?’ and I was like, ‘Are you ok?’”
“I think he just wants to know for the future!” she added.
